It wasn't long ago that taking your dog on vacation meant you were either sleeping in a tent, trailer or motor home. However, pet travel is much more diverse nowadays and that is partly due to the ever increasing amount of pet friendly hotels.
One reason pet travel has become more popular is because of the guilt owners feel for leaving their dog at a kennel. This along with the realization most people would ideally prefer to take their pets on vacation has led many top notch hotels to become pet friendly hotels.
In fact, many pet friendly hotels don't just accommodate pets, but cater to them. It would be hard to justify not giving pet travel a try when the hotel you're staying at will provide him with food and water bowls and a personalized ID tag. But some pet friendly hotels are taking it even further by offering pet massages and pet room-service menus as well as side by side pet and owner pedicures.
If you're going to be staying at any of these pet friendly hotels, you better seriously consider looking at what you need for problem-free pet travel since your pet may end up having a better time than you.
